Urgent Care Physician – California, MD

We have an opening for a Physician who provides healthcare services to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring patients are treated with high standards of care.

    • Flexible work schedules set 3 months in advance, no on-call, and limited weekends.

Qualifications, Experience and Responsibilities:
  • Doctorate (MD /DO) with a Maryland medical license and DEA certification.
  • ABMS Board certification in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family medicine or if board eligible then intention to become board certified within 1 year of onboarding
  • Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
  • Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up. 
  • Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments.
  • Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual.
  • Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and related compliance standards
  • Detail-oriented and confident in medical best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications
  • Respect and autonomy in decision-making
  • Team-based approach to patient care. 
  • ACLS / BLS certifications (We will provide this if needed)
Hourly Salary Range: Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Physician: $220,000.00 – 280,000.00+
