Your Passport to a Healthy Journey

At Patients First we pride ourselves in offering a level of service not typically experienced in today’s travel healthcare marketplace. Our offices are conveniently located in your community and are staffed by doctors and nurses rigorously trained in travel medicine.

Getting sick is never fun, but much less so away from home. Before you embark on your journey, you want the certainty you’ll get from one-on-one counseling with a trained medical professional whose expertise includes travel medicine and immunizations.

Travel Medicine is a necessary specialty arising from the increasingly complex problems related to disease prevention and health maintenance of travelers today. The goal is to prevent the spread of diseases like Yellow Fever, Malaria, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and to help travelers avoid the complications associated with travel outside our country, such as respiratory infections and diarrhea.

Patients First will provide an official immunization record to keep with your travel documents, along with personalized health and travel information booklets. Each booklet details the health risks and requirements for the specific countries on your itinerary, consular information, general travel advice, and tips on avoiding travelers’ diarrhea and other common maladies. We provide advice, vaccinations and prescriptions, if necessary, to travelers of all ages.

We recommend that you call and schedule your Travel Medicine visit at least three to four weeks in advance and be ready to provide a list of your destination countries at this time. This will help us better prepare for your visit.
